It's been good-as-new since it was fixed.

The only possible thing is that it seems the sunroof opening/closing is louder than it used to be but I asked the dealer and they said all was normal. My guess is that the noise just varies somewhat according to the outside temperature - it was fixed back in March and it's been quite warm out ever since then.

Please submit any feedback about the moonroof here: http://social.ford.com/. I would like a massive one; big enough to fit an engine through it. Have you had your dealer check it out, cobie56? If not, please PM me your VIN, mileage, phone number, and dealer info; I'll escalate this with your Customer Service Manager.

Extended warranties are very useful. Our PremiumCARE Extended Service Plan covers over 500 parts and delivers great peace of mind. See how it stacks up against our other great plans: http://owner.ford.com/servlet/Conten...ESPWizardStep1.

Thanks for offering some advice, TiPilot! How's the new seal holding up?

Thomas
No, i've not had the dealer look at it as the sun roof works as it's intended. I just feel it's a bit small, that's all....As for the wind noise, it's the design of the pop up air deflector... Very diff design from my 01 focus (which is far quieter)... if one presses down on the deflector while at speed most of the wind noise goes away.... just a poor design, that's all.

True; it's been unseasonably warm since then. Since your dealer said it's normal, let's roll with the flow.

This makes sense; the air deflector may cause the extra wind noise. I hope you submit feedback on our Ford Social site.

I'm still trying to get answers for this too, as you can see on the '2012 Moon roof leaking' thread and the '2012 Ford Focus Moon Roof Leak' thread.

I'll update if I get any answers.

Bummer; let's see if this can be properly cleaned. Which shade are you referring to?

Since this is a moonroof thread, I think it's safe to assume that he's referring to the moonroof shade.
