Goodyear Eagle GT or Dunlop Fierce Instinct ZR?
i can get the Dunlops for about $85 brand new. the Eagle GTs i can get for $125. price wise of course the Dunlops are better but i cant get Walmart tire out of my head. as for the Eagle GT's some say they're good. had a customer come in today that wanted his Eagle GT's traded out for another tire because the GT's weren't very quiet. all in all what i really want is an All Season tire that can be dependable in snow and good on price. i would've just looked for reviews on Tirerack but the Dunlop isnt listed on Tirerack... so what do you guys think?? if anyone has experience w/ one of/both tires

I really like the set of dunlops I have. They ride well and the price just makes it sweeter!

From feed back from people w/ the goodyear gt's they seem to wear pretty fast. Between thou's 2 I'd go for the Dunlops.

Fierce tires are Goodyear's entry level tires. I would choose the Eagle GT over the Fierce, but either way, IMO, you're not going to be happy with your purchase. The Eagle GT's are loud and they didn't handle as well as I had hoped they would on my friends' G35.

I have the Fierce Instincts as well, I have no complaints about them at all. Decent grip, treads seem to hold up pretty well, and aren't very loud IMO. I'm happy with them.

If you're looking for a true all (four) season tire and the one with the best snow traction when compared to all of the all season tires, there's really only one option to look at, the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. It might cost a little more but in this case it's definitely worth it.

yeah that was a tire i was looking at but i thought why not shoot for something cheaper that we have in stock. another Focus that looked exactly like mine came in. he has Eagle GT's in the stock size (205/50/16 i think) and loves them. he says they're not loud at all and i didnt experience any balancing trouble w/ them besides the rim protector in the way of the weights. he was surprised i got almost 19k out of my Kumhos. im close to biting the bullet on the Fierces though.
