Intake?! for 2012 Focus

Hello. This is my first time posting. I just recently bought a 2012 Ford Focus and have been doing research about adding an intake. There aren't many options out there at all, according to what I could find. Does anyone have some advice about what they have installed?

What about the INJEN SP Short Ram Intake?!
http://www.importimageracing.com/inj...ocus-2-0l.html ??

I appreciate it.

Have you tried looking around the forum at all? Using the search function perhaps? Might save yourself some time as you'll find several threads with peoples' reviews and impressions of:

The Injen intake
the Steeda CAI and Short Ram
FSWERKS Cool-Air CAI
K&N Typhoon

etc. A little goes a long way. Welcome to FF.

Also, you can save some money and try the 'newemission' mod, basically an effective alternative that uses stock intake components (search, you'll find it). Theres a few other similar ones you can find poking around here. You can even get a K&N drop in (its cone shapped) and just pull the stock intake cover, though I fear heat soak with that one. Not saying you should or shouldn't go these routes, just letting you know whats out there.

Get a Steeda CAI, it fits perfectly, is quality made and sounds really good to boot.

steeda and k&n are the most popular ones right now.
fwerks is the best bang for the buck, and AEM is the only one that takes the air filter out of the engine bay.

Has anyone dyno'd this yet? I'm gonna pop over to the dyno thread and see....

So mustang0 got 160HP with a newmission and lunchbox delete, plus premium fuel. DAAYUMMM. I'm spending too much money for too little gains.
