BLACKOUT tint in La Verne is great, but a little far from you. Miguel is the owner and he does top shelf work!

I had mine done at Ultimate Shield in Orange. I went with the ceramic tint. Love the way it blocks the heat.

$1000 for tint;you're getting ripped off when the higher end places around here charge a 3rd of that for the same 3M film. I got quoted $220 for lifetime using 3M tint and it's the same stuff that was on my '93 Eclipse and it held up great for over 12 years.
You're a sucker if you pay that exhorbitant price.

If you don't mind me asking Chefocus, how much did it run?

For reference, just got mine done for $150 all way around 30%. I'm in Ventura, The Tintman in Oxnard did them, flawless job.

The ceramic tint was $450. It was the most I've ever paid. However, the way the tint blocks heat is pretty amazing. If I'm diligent about putting up my sunshade, the car stays pretty tolerable even on hot days. My wife has standard tint on her Celica and my car stays about 20 degrees cooler.

The top of the line 3M tint would have run me about $100 more, but I isn't see much added benefit.
