Etis

OK, this may have been covered elsewhere, but I wasn't able to find anything. I typed my VIN into the ETIS site to see what the build date was. Build Date: 12.06.12
If that's the case, I'm driving a Focus that won't be built for another 4-1/2 months! Would the ETIS system be using European-style dates? DD/MM/YY
versus US-style MM/DD/YY, or am I caught in some crazy Back to the Future meets Groundhog Day scenario?

ETIS does use the D/M/Y dating convention, because almost the entire world does and ETIS is accessible globally, it's more logical than month/day/year just, but in the US we have to be different than everyone else, lol.

Also, Etis is actually a European website (i.e., Ford of Europe) to my knowledge, so they use the European date conventions.
