Replacing Footwell lights
I don't know if there's another thread on the site like this, but I've searched all over the internet and can't find what I need.
I'm trying to replace the foot lights in my car and I can't seem to get them out. They're just clipped into place. But no matter how much I squeeze the edges or twist and turn the bulb, it won't come out, and I don't want to damage the wires from overdoing it. They're similar to the lights bulbs on my previous car, so I don't understand why this is so difficult. Do I need special tweezers or something to take them out? Or am just not pressing in the right spot? Thanks in advance! |

Anyone routed lighting to the rear seat passengers? I'm thinking of eventually bringing my interior light kit to the back seats too. I'm just gonna replace the door handle inserts and all, and add a switch to allow me to turn on/off the lights.

Find the side of the clear bit with no wires (I think its the right side for both) and push in and down at the same time, this will unclip the clear lens and allow easy access to the bulb. The bulbs pull straight out, no twisting. Either 168 or 194 size will work fine. If you want color, get LEDs, regular color bulbs will be very dim.

Anyone got any links for the foot well bulbs and dome light? I searched all over town and the internet with no avail. I just want blue lights damn it lol any help would be appreciated!!

I changed my footwell lights to blue right when I got the car. I believe the bulb number was 194. Get LEDs! and to get the stock ones out is a little tricky but I unclipped them from the wire and took them inside so I could see better and got them out. Good luck! I love mine!
