I spared no expense getting it the way I wanted it and I know I won't be able to recover what I spent but my ST is on the way and I'd rather not have 4 cars at the house. I've recently become aware that the car was involved in an accident when it had about 8000 miles on it. The original owner kept the car and continued to drive it after being fixed. The title is clear so it was not totaled. The car has been flawless for me since I have owned it, and I've replaced anything that was even questionable to me (I'm just that way). It is in amazing condition over all. When I bought the car, I ran a check on it using AutoCheck. No accident was shown. Someone recently ran a CarFax on it when I was selling it and alerted me to the accident. I have since purchased the car fax and will send it to prospective buyers. The car needs nothing. Over the last two years it's had: *Full floor pan dynomat *In dash Alpine double din entertainment unit (Ipod control, Sirius, etc) *Sirius radio with antenna hidden under front cowling *JL Audio 6 channel class D amp bridged to 3 (Have to look up the model #, but expensive unit) *Kicker L5 solobaric in custom MDF box located in place of original sub *Focal component set up front ($800 pair when new). Woofer mounted on door on MDF spacer and tweeter flush mounted. *All high quality wires run in the stock wire looms in the car. The stereo sounds amazing. The JL amp powers the front Focals and the L5 sub. *Ford OEM RS Spoiler painted by dealer (perfect match) *Brand new 5 spoke SVT wheels (I like them better than the Euros). Only 6 months old. Sold the Euro's, sorry. *Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires with about 12k miles on them (nice tires) *Timing belt/idler changed at 39k miles *Coolant Flush/Fill before last winter *Upgraded thermostat housing at 39k miles *New K*N drop in filter at 39k miles *New plugs/wires at 39k miles *Koni SRT non-adjustable shocks/springs at 39k miles. Nice drop but I still drove it last winter no problem. These are the orange ones that don't slam the car. They were purchased brand new. *Brand new drivers Recaro installed at 39k also (Old one wasn't bad, I just happened to get a brand new one for cheap from a friend that used to work at the factory in Michigan) *Aftermarket floor mats and trunk mat with orange SVT on them. *New SVT OEM front lip (Had beat up mach 1 lip on it when I got it) *New stock SVT rear black insert on bumper (had SAP on it when I got it) Interior is excellent minus two flaws which I will show in pics. No smoking, no smell. Carpet looks brand new. Front seats have super minor wear (I'm not a big guy) and the back looks new. Exterior is very good - excellent (for a 10 year old car). The front and rear bumper each have a scuff/scrape. Front bumper / hood have stone chips. There are no dents or noticeable dings on the car (I'm sure you could find one or two minor ones if you looked really hard). No creases, etc. Undercarriage is nice and clean. Heat shields around the front cat are shot (as with all SVT Focus). It does have an aftermarket bottom engine mount which I would change to stock if I was keeping it. Too much vibration for my tastes. Most of you know what the EAP package is, but for those who don't - Recaro leather heated front seats, OEM HID headlights, moonroof, heated mirrors, engine block heater, and audiophile stereo. This is an excellent car that has been maintained well and has an amazing audio system. I usually take a system like this out of the car before selling it, but this one is SO integrated into the car at this point it just doesn't make sense. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I suspect drivers side front damage as the drivers side fender paint is not perfect. I do not believe the airbags deployed but I am not 100% sure there. The nice thing about this situation is that the accident happened at 8 or 9 thousand miles, and the car now has 57,000 miles. I've put almost 30,000 of those on myself, including a long road trip (around 2500 miles in a week) this spring with no problems. I drive this car 120 miles/day every day through the winter and summer and haven't had problems. All required maintenance is up to date, timing belt, water pump, etc are all done so it should be a worry free car for some time. I think it would make a great daily driver. I might think about putting the stock size springs back on (which I have) just because it sits a bit low but on the other hand I drove it this low all last winter. |
