euro rear wiper

Does anyone know of a shop in NA that sells the Focus euro rear wiper?

why is the Euro wiper so much nicer than the NA one?

i think the euro wiper is a waste of money (even though it isnt that much). I think that if you really wanted a clean look, just take off the whole wiper assembly and put a black cover over the whole. Lots of euro show cars do that.

For those of us who actually drive their car, we like to see out the rear window, especially in winter.

I've seen the kit on eBay.

If you mean this "Covered Rear Wiper Conversion" on their site:

Then it's not a focus wiper at all. It's basically a rear wiper and arm from a standard Peugeot 206, and rebadged as a conversion.

Do you guys have Peugeot over there? If so just get one from a dealer.
If not surely there's some car that has the same size spline and roughly the same size blade that looks nice.

I have it and IMO it does clean up the look somewhat.

Actually it is not off a Peogeot and still NA does not have Peugeots or the other brand the wiper is from. Another benefit is that the wiper area is larger than with the Focus wiper, this way it cleans the rear window better. The Focus is designed to have a rear wiper, some cars dont need one because they donīt spray the dirt on the rear window.....

All I can say is it looks Very Very Very similar to a Pugeot wiper. Possibly identical to the one on my focus, and the g/f's Peugeot.

I checked the Ford European sites, it's not a European Ford wiper. whatever it is, it's certainly better than the original.

I'm worried about the length, if it is longer, the motor will require more torque, it may not be a good idea.

I have had mine for about a year now, it (the motor) works fine with this wiper, no problem
the length is a bit longer but not too much.
