So where are all the aftermarket parts

i just read an article that Ford has sold 1.02 million Focus last year.
i would think as an atermarket supplier, this is a huge market....

so i ask
where is everyone?

Try looking at the aftermarket parts thread. That would be a good start. It doesn't include parts that are currently in development, but nothing ever will. Also try using the search function.

The real answer to your question is there isn't much maybe 3 body kits a couple bolt ons but nothing with substantial gains ( mmmm forced induction) a few nic Nacs here or there but the after market is crap this far

Nothing with substantial gains? These cars are seeing upwards of 30hp (up to 20% over stock) by simple bolt-ons for performance. Tell any previous generation owner that and they will instantly start drooling or crying. There are numerous suspensions available and hundreds of wheels. Exterior upgrades aren't flooding the market, but there is still a lot that can be done.

You're right in the fact that there is no forced induction, but tuning has only recently (within the last 60 days) started to become available. Any available forced induction before would have been a waste because you wouldn't have been able to start your car. Like I said, parts are currently under development and I am personally aware of it. The car itself has only been out now for 2 years and if we're going to be realistic with the situation, the majority of the population is buying them for fuel economy and daily-driver duties. For aftermarket companies to drop everything and design FI solutions for a car that didn't have tuning capabilities would have been a poor choice.

Never mind the tuners that are now available.

You can't compare a performance vehicle to an economy car. It just doesn't work like that. Of course there is going to be more performance options for a car that is directly marketed at a performance companies primary market. That is their bread-and-butter.

Edit: Top-selling cars are geared toward the majority, not towards the main group of people that want to buy performance parts.
