Wipers Rocks Car

Just want to mention this, last Saturday I believe there was a thunderstorm with heavy downpour. I was at a stoplight with the wipers at full speed and boy did it rock the car side to side! These are some powerful wipers or something because I never had a car rock from the wipers before.

I've noticed the same thing. Very weird, but not a deal-breaker or anything. It kind of makes the car feel cheap, but it feels very solid otherwise, so I don't sweat it. I think it may have something to do with the weird configuration of the wipers, which is different than any other car I've owned.

It probably has something to do with the fact that each wiper is 3 feet long. Ok..thats an exaggeration, but damn...they're big.

have you ever been in a car with one central wiper? those rock the car so much. it has to do with you using it full power most likely.

That and the mass & leverage of the wiper arms.

Yup, Ex 1985 Subaru XT6 owner here. And THE wiper was quite fun during winter time on the highway. I hated it with a passion. Car was cool, but man, the wiper thing ? sheess

I washed the Focus in my driveway and pulled it into the garage to dry it off. I ran the wipers on the way in, and it slung water all over the side of the Camaro. These wipers don't play around.
