Cool New Coilovers Installed!!

Pics after Installation!

Front can definitely go a lot lower, but my tire will be rubbinb. I'm just waiting to get my new wheels so I can add camber and roll my fenders before I get any lower.

So tonight I installed my coilovers on my Mk3. As some of you may know I bought the MS3 Coilovers from Raceland, and a lot of you had some questions, so i would be happy to answer them all.

First of all, the suspension installation was a breeze. No modifications needed, except a zip tie to hold the brake line onto the MS3 strut. It took me and a friend 3 hours total to install the coilovers.

2nd, the ride feels great. Its only been a few hours, but the suspension feels just like stock (expect that its way lower).

Here is a link to the coilovers I bought:
http://www.racelandus.com/coilovers/...coilovers.html

Below are some photos I took just after the installation. The suspension still has to settle a bit, so I will update you with more photos as soon as I can.

Out of the box:

Front shock:

Side view after install (front needs adjusting to be lower):

Mudflaps are like 1/4 inch from the ground and scrape any time i turn or enter a driveway or bump (I love it! )

Removing the helper spring in the front (or 2nd spring) to get lower.

These are adjustable. And as he said, the front still needs adjusting for it to go lower.

Does the front go down anymore? Looks like a reverse rake the way it sits now.

I can assure you that the front is noticeably lower then that of the eibach springs. Maybe you can't tell, but the front tire tucks about a 1/4 inch. Like I said, I am adjusting the front to get more lows!!

The zip tie is through the metal bracket holding the line

Like I said I only drove it for a few hours last night, but it seems to drive just like stock.
