SVT valve cover sand/ media blasting
I just removed my valve cover to change out the gasket due to oil leaking into the spark plug area. The paint on my valve cover is pretty crappy; has anyone sand or media blasted their valve covers for a more "raw" look. I like vintage muscle era look such as raw aluminum. Is it safe?

Sure it's safe. It will corrode faster but I think it'll look good.

I would like to know how it turns out. I have a problem with my throttle cables rubbing on my valve cover making nice little gouges in my valve cover so I will be having to do something with mine here soon too.
