HELP! Camber arm Problems!
Hey guys. Installed Eibach pro dampers with sportline springs and MASSIVE camber arms. The camber was perfect at first, then one day i noticed the right side camber was off again, then following a few days later was the left side. Took to a shop to get another alignment and the camber arms are adjusted FULL out so i cannot gain any more camber. Nothing seems bent but even with the camber arms adjusted all the way out theres still SIGNIFICANT negative camber(you can see outside of tire not touching ground). I called Massive and they dont sell a longer cam bolt for more adjustment. but im afraid thats not the actual issue. Does anyone have any advice on what could have caused the camber to be off? Its on a 2.2 drop in the rear on the sportlines. 2003 ZX3. Again just to reiterate, i have less than 0 Adjustment left on the MASSIVE adjustable camber arms (only half inch threaded into arm). PLEASE HELP!

If you had the camber adjusted perfect with those arms, you don't want more adjustment in the arms to bring it back. Something else has changed, you need to figure out what.

well i think the suspension settled a bit because i put on new springs and dampers at the same time, the threads didnt move from initial set, and i havent ran the car too hard at all since. One side reverted to negative, then the otherside... i just dont see having bent anything...? im really at a loss as to why this could have happened.

If the bolts were tightened with the suspension drooping instead while loaded, the car will settle a little bit. Other than that, they don't settle at all after install. Just need to slightly loosen the bolts, then re-tighten with the suspension loaded.
What I was trying to say is if the camber was adjusted to where you want it, then it adjusted itself negative, something changed. Since it wasn't the camber arms adjustment that changed, you'll need to figure out what did change. Adjusting the camber arms some more to account for whatever did change is not getting to the root of the problem, just trying to band-aid it. Could be as simple as a rubber bushing gone bad. |

hey guys, took off both camber arm, which btw was a B
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() * on the passengeres side because of the fuel tank/pump... GRRR!! Anyways i can see stress fractures in the paint on the arm itself... is this normal for these arms? looks like it might have bent where the stress fractures are(looks like when you bend plastic in the paint) but its so subtle and the arms are the same when you place on on top of the other... not sure if they are actually bent or not. When you try and screw the cam bolt in it gets really tough towards the end of screwing it in which imo kinda proves its bent. Still just unsure..PS bushings are fine. |

contact massive maybe they can give you insight. I've never heard of anyone bending one. I think if you managed to bend that by hitting something then you need to look at other parts of the rear suspension.

Well they are definitely bent, Contacted massive and they are refunding my money AND sending a free set of toe arms. Although the part failing was really disappointing i have to say the caliber of business these guys do is just unheard of. I was very surprised. Additionally they told me they were gona send a set of updated camber arms they are working on to test for them and basically get a free set of camber arms when they are completed. So definitely kudos to MASSIVE.
