cold air intake, header, full exhaust and tune is a good start, but it won't be exactly cheap and all of them together might get you 20 hp.

How do you know that you want 20 hp? Is it just to say that you have it?
To make the most of any bolt-on mods you're going to want a tune (squeezes ~5 more hp with intake and exhaust installed), which alone runs you about $400. A decent intake is $200-300 and a decent catback exhaust is $400-450. As was said, that's $1,000 and it might get you 20 hp. If you need your car to be faster in a straight line, simple bolt-ons won't get you very much. If you need to be fast in curves, you should put the money into your suspension. $1,000 can buy you nice springs and dampers with room left over for new sway bars or a rear brake swap.

You can do the tumble flap delete on the intake manifold, run midranged gas and get toms tune.

20hp was just a number i threw out there. im happy with my car in everyway except i would like some extra get up and go. but if its gonna be near 1000 dollars, might as well just save that for a new paint job for my courier...

well per fswerks.com, they list 116.5hp and 120 tq for a base run on their '07 2.0L duratec and then 122.4/hp 126/tq with their CAI, thats a little less than 5% gain for $250. (125.7/128.1 hp/tq for an '08)
When they add their exhaust to the cai dyno on their '08, they got 131.6/131.9...So for about $700 you get about a 10% gain in power to the wheels... is that worth it for you? check out the dyno thread here, give you some ideas on what mods on a 2.0l can do, you can research the prices for them on your own |

If your going to do anything= sri or cai
If your going to do anything, I'd get rid of the 100,000 mile filter that you now have=(You try breathing thru that) & upgrade to a Steeda sri= short ram intake or a Fwerks cai= cold air intake.I have the steeda sri myself w/ no issues & its easy to clean the filter. Its slightey noticeable too.
