Are Titanium Models Considered Rare?

I rarely if ever see another Titanium on the road, sedan or hatch, the dealer doesn't seem to have much stock compared to base S and SE models. When I bought mine there was only two to choose from and about 40+ S and SE models.

Does anyone else consider the Titanium a rare site on the road? Maybe it's just my area, as I have not even seen a ST on the road yet.

I would not consider it "rare". Its simply a higher package so the dealers don't sell as many. Most of their sales are in the S and SE models like you noted.

One of Fords other trim level on some other vehicles is "limited" and the only thing "limited" about them is the number of people willing to buy them.

It's just you and or your area. Titaniums are a dime a dozen around here, I see almost as many Titanium models as I do SE and even more than I see SEL 2012 models.

However for 2013 the SE can be loaded up with everything from the Ti minus the intelligent access and a few other minor features yet still cost more than a Ti.

I am sure MI is Ford Country and autoworkers get good discounts, at least they use to even if you work in some type of auto industry. I would say here with tourism most Fords, Fusions or Focus are fleet rentals, easy to spot with the barcodes on the windows and no tinted windows of course. Ford trucks are popular here though.

Titaniums are very common. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the most often picked trim here. In our area, S models have (by far) the smallest population.

SE and TI are the most common trims overall.

I had to get a 2013 Titanium in performance blue. Only one dealer in Michigan had one and it sold before my dealer could get it. I've motly seen Titaniums in Michigan but have yet to see one in performance blue. I've got about 2500 miles on it now with no issues save the squeek from the passenger seat which I can live with and it dissapears when i have a passenger.
The DCT took a bit getting used to but happily I have learned to really enjoy it.........Haven't had any experiences with surging or rolling back on hlls......Hope i am one of the lucky ones with out issues!

It's not like we drive LaFerrari's or McLaren P1's lol ....With that being said I'm apart of the dime a dozen Ti club here in Baton Rouge.

I see more exotics here than Ti Focus believe it or not, but it's not unusual to see this here. I only seen one Focus Electric which was a FPL (Florida Power & Light) company car. Still have not seen a ST yet.

Speaking of "Velosters" they are like rabbits down here, I see way too many of them.
