Looks to be a SAP diffuser from the 05-07's, interchangeable with the SVT's insert.

rambleon84 is online now

man I know another "I wish I had that money" post isn't helping, but I just need to express respect for all the work that has been done on that car. My SVT that I got 5 months ago is the first car that I really enjoy driving and I put a lot of heart, and money (relatively to my salary) in its restoration and maintenance. I hope one day to bring it to somewhat similar level of your one, or maybe even leave my current as a daily driver and get another one for complete rebuild.

Anyways...

c'mon peeps, it's $16k .... where can you get such a powerful, fun to drive, and well maintained car for that price?

Thanks for the complements. I also forgot to mention that 408whp and 41wtq was on a mustang dyno so its actually more when compared to what most people are used to. I might keep the car. Its a very nice car and I still drive it quite a bit. I purchased some fender flares for it and have intentions of changing the rims to fit some wider tires on it so it can use alot more of the power it has. But it is still for sale.

Hellooo! Hey I couldn't resist but to drop a message on your post! I have been searching high and low for a focus that had some power over my standard focus zx3 01" that I ended buy last year and fell in love with. I've had the car now and done mainly tune ups on it. But I have always wanted to tune it up but the wife says not too.. but that bring me here I am very interested in your car but im not a millionaire but would like to talk to you about your car! I'm sure you've had tons of offers but I would really like to know some things like how and where you got the parts since I would love to do something similar to your set up! Please drop me a message I would love to hear what got you started on your focus vs a hinds like the rest of the crowed(no offense).

sure. Just send me a message with your questions. the main reason i built this car was it was the car i had when my daughter passed away and i got the life insurance and settlement from her. It kept me busy so that I didnt pine over what I lost. I worked day and night many times working for 20 hour stents to get this car just right. You ask about where I got some of the parts. Well that is a tough question to answer because it was not just one place. Most of the parts on this car you can not get any more. For example. The turbo manifold is one of 3 that neukin made for the focus It is a straight race manifold with a life time warranty on it against failure. The rods were the last set of manely rods mad for the zetech. The block was one of a few Wrc rally blocks that were sold for the zetech. So in short being able to do this now days will be alot more difficult parts would have to be used. You could not touch trying or even thinking of trying to build a car like this for less than probably about $60k I have receipts for over $40k into the car not including my own labor or the thousands of hours on the dyno getting this tune just right to do what this car does and be reliable doing it.
