I quit trying because mine just would let go and I really didn't feel like breaking it.

I knew if I bent it back any farther to see what the hell was holding it in place, it was going to be done for.

Are you trying to plasti dip it? If so just tape around it leaving about a half inch border on the black plastic...

I have been trying to get that biznatch out to fabricate my upper ram air. It makes me really mad.

Pro Tip- Ensure that you re-attach the hood release cable if/when you disconnect it before closing the hood if you have super-ultra man hands like me...#tightsqueeze

I'm interested to see this upper ram air, and I have big man hands too, years of weightlifting and sports injuries have made them pretty thick.

I'm going to fab up some fiberglass pieces, one to the upper air tract and one for the lower grill piece (when I do the Newmission Mod). The upper may also get a hole fabbed in above the whisker to not only add air to the tract but also give some of the air a straight shot.

The added benefit of the opening builds on the Bernoulli Principal, as most ram air intakes are designed around. May be a month or more down the road though, gotta make my stance right first...

You have to remove the bumper to get it out! PITA.
