Plugs swimming in oil
This is not good.
I just went to change my spark plugs as the engine has been running a little rough and the place where the plugs go is swimming with oil. On all 4 pots. I'm guessing this is not good but how bad is it? Is it likely to be just a gasket and if so...which one? I'm not sure what to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Davva |

I had a similar issues. If you replace the valve cover and it still runs weird, there may be other issues. Mine would puke out blue smoke whenever I put my foot into it hard. The problem was in the head, I think I had bad valves and lifters. Had to replace the engine.

Bad valve cover gasket. It's an easy job, and I think we have a How-To on it depending on which engine you have. What year is your vehicle?
