2100 miles in 3 days

This week I drove the 2003 ZX3 from los angeles to chicago, it's 2100 miles. I split it into three days as I had no copilot. Averaged 30 mpg with the AC on and cruise set at 75-80, car has a 2.3 pzev and automatic. Only mechanical trouble was a burned out brake light bulb. It was HOT out, over 100° most of the trip. First road trip with the focus, only complaint is after 8hrs the seat is not the most comfortable.

Just did a similar trip. LA to Carlisle, PA in 4 days.

I don't think there are many seats that are comfy past 10 hours, it really didn't help that I was in this exact seat the whole time:

How long are you in Chicago before you come back?

My 2005 focus is the first car I've had that the gas in the tank outlasts my bladder!! I can get over 450 miles per tank, but my urge to empty my bladder comes sooner then that! love this car's gas mileage.

33-35 highway depending on terrain and how heavy my foot is. But my car also has a 14 gallon tank, which I think is bigger then the earlier year focuses(foci?).

I'll be here in chicago about a week, then driving to florida. My folks are moving so I went to help.

Forgot to mention the travel related accident:
Highway was down to one lane with no shoulder, the daschund had to go pee.
Nowhere to pull over, she jumped in my lap and peed on me.
At least she didn't do it on the upholstery, I can't throw the seats in a washing machine.

Word of advice, don't post illegal things on the internet. Its also in the forum rules. Dont be surprised if a mod edits your post.

Not bad gas mileage tho lol.
