Aesthetics or performance?

So I'm excited to start modifying my focus, but I'm confused whether to install new rims first, or to install an air filter and an exhaust system, what do you guys think?

What does it matter what anyone else thinks? It is your car. Do what YOU want.

The filter and exhaust will be a very minimal performance gain anyways...especially without a tune.

Maybe he just wants other's opinions. This is a discussion forum is it not? Laith027 it depends on what you are looking for. If you are more interested in getting a little more power then go with the intake and exhaust. If you think the power is okay right now then go for the cosmetic stuff.

Starting point would make a huge difference on the decision.

16" wheels with "All Season" tires upgraded to a larger wheel with Summer performance tires would be a large improvement.

Changing 17's or 18's for a different look wouldn't be a big change.

I already had the factory 17's and i dont mind the look so i decided i want to do the performance stuff first. Rims will probably be the last thing i do. I did the green filter drop in first. I'll probably do lowering springs and wheel spacers next. I want to do a tune too!!

Ok then I vote for clay barring it first. Give it some love and smooth stroking.
