One Touch Up only for rear windows?

I just noticed today after having disconnected the battery to get MFT unstuck, that the one touch windows now only work for the back windows. Is there a setting somewhere to get the front windows working again?

To reset the one touch up/down
1. Hold button down until window is all the way down
2. Release for a split second
3. Hold button down for 5 seconds
4. Hold button up until window is all the way up
5. Release for a split second
6. Hold button up for 5 seconds

Thank you I will give it a shot. Why the hell would this ever need resetting? I have had my truck for 7 years and it has never had to be reset, only had this car for 7 weeks and I have to reset this crap?

I know it brings little comfort, but most, if not all cars equipped with auto up/down are like this. It's part of the no-pinch safety feature, basically so the window regulator recognizes full-up and full-down positions and won't try to remove your fingers if you're dumb enough to get them caught while closing the window. The real unfortunate part is that not all automakers use the same reset procedure, so unless you can find it in the manual, you have to guess how Brand X is reset. I spent an hour in my realtor's garage trying to get her front windows reset on her Mazda CX-9 and never did get it done. BTW GhiaFan....thanks for posting the procedure.

I spent an hour trying to get them to work but what worked for me was this:

Hold Window Down until it's all the way down, then without releasing count to 5. Then without more than a second of delay bring the window up all the way, and once up all the way count to 5 without releasing.

Then they operated normally again. I had to reset each one of the fronts. I don't get WHY they needed to be rest still though, just from disconnecting the battery? I certainly didn't put anything in the windows, or leave them rolling up or down for an extended period of time.

I think a disconnect from battery can cause this.

Back when I had my drivers side panel replaced the mechanic forgot to do the reset and for a solid week I thought I had gotten another dud panel; thankfully someone here posted the same steps to reset the global up/down.

I didn't do anything like unplug the battery but now only my driver's window has one-touch, I have a 2012 titanium (mid-May 2012 build) and thought it had global one-touch. I'll give the reset procedure above a try tonight and report back.

I had the same problem, when I had the clutches replaced. Maybe Ford should send their Service Departments a memo to remind the mechanics to activate the feature. Although, it is an easy fix once you know how, why should the customer have to finish the job?

If the first procedure does not work try my procedure. I could not get the fist one to work on my 2012.

Sync is screwing up again already so I may end up disconnecting the battery again and resetting my windows this weekend. I guess I should just add this to my weekly chores.
