Fraim air filters

Anyone else run Fram Air Filters in their Focus? I seen they were only $5.00 at Walmart today so I went ahead and grabbed one. Seems to be constructued compared to the OEM Filter and STP Filter. For $5.00, I feel like I should be replacing it everytime I change the oil.

nothing wrong with them if your just gonna stick with the stock set up, just replace every 6 months to a year. or get yourself a K&N drop in for a little more performance.

Unlike the oil filters, fram air filters are fine...

I replace them every 2 years with the biannual smog test. (whatever name brand that is cheapest at the time)

I've been using them for years. Bought one a while back that seemed to have a quality-control issue, as the gasket that seals it to the airbox wasn't formed straight, so it didn't seal right. Back it went, & the replacment was fine.
