Hmmm I had wondered on some of the setups. Since I have a Ti, I can't really leave a fob in the car as it would never lock. I think the regular key, you have to have like 2 or 3 keys for it to grab the code so you don't lose a key in the end. There is the kit and instructions on partscheap.com for the Ford module, so I know it can be done.

Not sure about this, but I know a guy around here had a Viper Remote Start system installed on his 2012 Focus.

Guess I should have mentioned has any one done a install them selves and not have a shop install it. I've done command starts before but this ones a little different so was hoping some one here might have done it

OK guys so ive done the install, its actually alot easier then every one told me. No joke it was a total of 16 Wires, 3 Relays (and one comes with the command start already) and 3 diodes. The only issue i have right now, which im looking into with a couple of companies and a friend who does installs regularly is the command start shuts the car off if i use the door handle to unlock the car and not with either the factory fob or the command start fob. If any one is interested in doing one i say go for it. Im here for any help you need. Its alot cheaper the paying $800 for a shop to do it. I paid a total of 280 for the modual, and 2way remotes
