New to Focus

My dad just gave me his 2007 Ford Focus SE sedan. I used to drive a chevy Z71 suburban before I got the focus. Since I am used to driving a bus around, the focus is going to be fun :) Its a light blue color, but with a good tint it will look even better. Anyone know how fast this year, and model can go? I got it up to XXX just barley on the oklahoma turnpike. That was fun!!! Im sure I will have my fair share of fun in this ride. Im glad I got a nice American made car, and not some foreign piece hah.

Well, about speed it depends how much you want to spend... gotta go forced induction, and that costs money :-) And also I wouldn't suggest to go fast on a bone stock FF unless you ande some suspension changes. It's not like it will not go, it's only much more risky.

Be careful with the speed!!!

And on sport-like suspension you will feel bumps even harder, thing is about handling... you don't want to lose control over your car at high speed.
Long straight on the freeway may seem like not the case where you would worry about handling ... until something happens and you need to dodge to avoid crash, then you will pay for being cheap on your suspension.
