Post Air Filter Replacement? Also, a whole lot other stuff!

Okay, so I read that the Duratec Focuses come with a "lifetime" air filter that supposedly lasts 100k or 150k depending on where I looked. My car is running 170k close to 180k. I think my car is under my name, but if it's not, then my car is a 2005 Ford Focus ZXW SES. My air filter has never been replaced, so you probably know where this is going. I need to replace it, but don't want to pay the $300+ for it. So... I've seen that you can get rid of the whole thing, and put in a cold air intake. I looked around and found that the lowest price was about $100. I can't afford that either. So I was wondering if anyone has one lying around or is parting out their car (2005+ of course) with one. Now for the other questions I'm going to bombard everyone with. I got into an accident recently (no one got hurt an F-150 hit my passenger front fender at 25 mph) and now I have a huge, but shallow, dent in my fender. What would be the best way to get rid of it, it looks awful. All the paint is mainly intact. Or can someone tell me how to take the fender off, and I might be able to bang it out. Another thing, does anyone know a place to get some Plasti-Dip in Michigan near Detroit? Also, has anyone used that Adhesion Promoter stuff on the interior plastics? Even more... My rear wiper doesn't work, but the washer does. It doesn't wipe at all or even twitch. What could be possible reasons? Or, if this if obvious, can you tell me how to fix it? Another question, my exhaust is rusted through in some places. Not on the pipes, but mainly the two mufflers. How can if replace them or fix them reliably for cheap? Would a pair of glass packs work? I can't afford a new OEM one. Also, how would I go about fixing it? And finally last, but not least, I have no antenna. It must of broke off at some point. Where can I get a new one for not too much that includes a base. As you can see, I just bought the car a few months ago, and hadn't had much time to fix the problems. I really like the car and hope to be part of the community for a long time. THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!

you could do the stealth sri here's a link about CAIs and SRIs and there's a link on the stealth SRI how to on the page. http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=192522

as for the dent, maybe someone else can answer that one for you, now fr your rear wiper it sounds like the motor might be burnt out on it. if that's the case then you could order an replacement from rockatuo they have decent prices the link specifically is http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...,parttype,8824

as for your exhaust you could do the lunch box delete or maybe go to your local muffler shop and they might be able to price you a decent muffler if it's just the muffler that's got holes in it. but here's the link on exhaust systems and a link to the lunch box delete how to http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=192524

and as far as the base for your antena you can get a replacement base and stubby anterna from cfm base is $14 and a stubby is $22 here's the link http://focus.c-f-m.com/fueldoorsgrillsantennas_2.aspx

Thanks milkweed, that helped out a lot, especially the stealth cai and custom sri link. So all I have left is the Plasti-dip question, the adhesion promoter question, the dent question, and how to take the fender off. I'd be really happy if someone could save the day right about now.

That would have worked, if only that I already checked in two stores, and all they have is the can one with no nozzle (you dip stuff into it). Where else can I find it?

Okay, I have a question regarding the stealth CAI from http://www.ineedawebsite.com/Blazing...lth%20CAI.html What would happen if I installed this on my car and drove in the rain or through water? Has anyone done this? If you have, can you please reply with your experiences or comments. Thanks in advance.

You don't want to do that. ^^^^^ If have to deal w/ water & rain go for the Steeda sri. Then you aren't looking at motors.

So I shouldn't do the stealth CAI? Why not (just want to know..) If not, then does anyone have a used steeda sri for a duratec for sale? I'd buy it if it was in Michigan and less than 100 dollars.
