• Designed for the installation of both DIN and DDIN aftermarket radios
• Unique backlight, rubber buttons retain the vehicles hazard button, lock/
unlock, and controls of the Driver Information center
• Center panel remains scratch resistant matte black to match factor

Oooh, right, it doesn't replace the climate controls. This might actually not be all that expensive.

I'm hoping the price goes below 150. I'd like to see it around 100. I'm already looking at close to 1000 on a navigation receiver, I don't want to spend all my money.

$150 for this is balls. Assuming it's because you need help to get it.

Metra's kit for the old Tauruses included all new climate controls and that was "only" $80. If this piece of molded plastic with 4 buttons hovers over $100 that's pretty ridiculous and I'm out on this one. Not throwing $120 into a piece of trim just so I can put a $60 CD player in my car and meanwhile lose functionality.

As I was advised in another thread prior to me searching, they make kits to keep your Sync and steering wheel controls functional.
