Need advice
So I filled up tonight with 93 (I'm in the middle of comparing 87 vs 93) and then I started to drive home and the car didn't feel very good. It felt like it was lacking power. Thinking maybe the car somehow was in "limp" mode, I got home, shut the car off, waited a minute, then restarted it and drove out a bit again to test. The car still felt like it was lacking power and when I got back home again, the engine sounded like it was ticking. I let the car idle for a bit and also revved the engine a bit in neutral. It sounded like the ticking got worse (more like knocking at this point).
Anyone have any thoughts on what happened? I'm guessing its possibly bad gas? Anything I can do to improve the ticking if it doesn't go away? |

Try a fuel additive first. Where did you get your gas from?

I got it from Hess, where I got my gas pretty much the whole time I've owned this car (~7 weeks). Haven't seemed to have a problem before (with my old car as well), but they could have gotten a bad shipment?
