They do list the Focus, but it only allows A/V while in motion and rear camera when not in reverse.

For other models they enable the rear camera if the car didn't come with it, and I would think the same TYPE of technology could be applied to enabling fog lights.

Oh, so they do. The list isn't alphabetic, stupid me for thinking it was. My bad.

I have checked with my local seller and the garage manager informed that another seller have trying to reprogram the BCM of a 2013 SE nad they haven't been successful on that as they told me it worked on a titanium but not on the SE, so for now no fog lights for my new focus :(

I'll keep you informed...

I'm confused here as the Titanium comes STANDARD with fog lights so I see no reason to try to re-program the BCM to enable them, but ...

You can add fogs to the SE - it's virtually the same as mentioned by Chadds3 for the 2012 S model - you just have to use an aftermarket toggle switch to turn them off, you don't get an indicator light in the instrument panel when they are on, and you will need to run your own wiring from the fuse panel or the switch to the fog lights.

I paid $10.74 for the entire fog light wire harness (new) from Wholesale Ford Parts (Lakeland Florida) which included the wire, the connectors to connect it to the fog lights, the OEM connectors to attach to the car and the connection to the existing BCM harness connection. It a simple modification to bypass the BCM by patching in there and not connecting to the existing BCM harness if you haven't got the BCM which supports fogs. At the moment, I have the BCM which support the fog lights in the 2013 SE, but, the dealer, after 2 days of trying still hasn't been able to get it to work with or without the VIN number of a car that has feature. I ordered the car without them (200a) thinking I could add them as it looked like a no brainer. Big mistake.

Again, you'll end up with a non-factory toggle switch, but with what you've bought already (including the $40 fog light switch), plus two $5 relays, you'll still be money ahead compared to the cost of the Titanium or the 201a, if all you wanted was fog lights.

Correct me if this has already been discussed but could you not use an add a fuse with the power ran down to the headlight and use a single relay inline with the main headlamp.

baiscly a relay that will detect power then turn on the other half of the relay.

I understand that your fogs would always be on when your main headlamp was on but this seems like the easiest way to add fogs.

Personally i never seem to turn them off or on. i just leave them on all the time.

i assume you could also use some Generic LED fog lamp that are 3.5" in diamater and hook them up to your drl lamp as well to achieve an always on fog light.

Pretty much previously covered.

See Reply #18.

If you want the fog lights to come on with the parking lights, you basically need two relays or the fogs will come on when you lock/unlock the car, etc.

If you don't ever want to run the fog lights WITHOUT using the headlights also (never want the fogs on with the parking lights), your idea should work.

I'd be leery of wiring in LED fogs with the DRL lights with the way the car interprets voltage drops as a bulb out indication, but it might work okay.
