new focus help
Ok, so i'm gonna buy an 05 focus ZX4 SE, and i want to know A. What i can get for performance parts (by the way, i live in northern maine, so they have to be snow compliant), B. what i can/should get for tires, and C. If anyone knows anything about it, what i can get for a stereo in it (head unit and 4 speakers). Thanks for the help.

Sony has a system designed for the Focus (option on yours). Check them out, it has an 8" sub in the truunk, and decent sound. It fits all the factory placments. As for performance, I'm in the same boat as you(MN). Start with the basics, intake (CAI), exhaust, get a set of cheap steel rims, and Blizzaks for the winter, then switch to the summer rubber when the melt is gone. Cars can look nice in the winter too, but you and I need to be realistic, we're pushing thru 2' of snow at times, its hard on the rims, and rubber.

there are a lot of nice parts out for the car. Pretty much any duratec part fits on every duratec engine, but when you order, just ask to be sure. That sticky is your friend and its updated whenever something new is released
|

Thanks for the advice, what do you reccomend for summer tires? If i buy this sony system, can i buy the sub box and sub, or is it just a factory sort of thing? Any recommendations for CAI/exhaust system?
