What's the saturation of Focuses in your area?

Colorado really isn't a hotbed of Focuses period but with my 3rd gen I feel like I'm driving a car that just came out.
I see event announcments or get togethers for Focus owners in lots of regions but the Rocky Mtn area seems kinda dead.

So,are there alot of Focuses in your area or do you share the pain of not having anybody to share your joy of owning a Focus?
Are there enough to have Focus only events?

I'd like to expand my knowledge of particularly the 1st gens since I was kinda ignorant to the Focus scene save for when Ford announced an SVT model and having some Focus geeks around would be nice since most of my friends have abandoned the sport compact scene since kids and mortgages have entered the picture and I've been 4wheeling since I gave up my Eclipse 8 years ago.

Here in CT I see maybe 3-4 others per day. Please still stop and stare at my Blue Candy hatch

I've seen 7 total 3rd gens (see alot of other gens,mostly 2nds but nearly all are stock) since we bought our's a month ago and 4 of them were sedans.
Once I have my 17" wheels,spoiler and tint done I'll feel like a celebrity here. lol

Usually see at least 5-7/day around here. Mix of sedans and hatches. There are tons of Foci in Albuquerque in general. Could probably see a dozen or do in a day if you include all generations.

I feel the exact same way here in St. Louis. I'm sporting a 2012 Red Candy SEL Hatchback, and that color is extremely rare in this area - my dealer had to get one from a dealership pretty far away.

It's nice in a way, but it seems odd not to see at least a few other hatchbacks in this area. People still don't know what it is, and can't believe that it's a Ford, much less a Focus.

The candy red was screaming at my wife from the dealer lot when we were driving by and she said "look,a red one" and the next day I took it for a test drive and then took my wife in for her own test drive and here I am on focausfanatics and spending money on my car already.

I am surprised a bit by the "gawk" factor this car gets and I get complimented on the color especially.

The only time I've seen more than two Focuses together has been at the dealer lot.

I get the double take, head swing, gawk and point all over town. I think it's the stripes and my good looks! ;)

Even though the Red Candy is my favorite color, I wouldn't usually be so insistent about it when it comes to a car. I love ALL the colors, but I just had to have it this one time.

I love the color but wasn't considering red as a choice......hell,we weren't even considering buying a new car and was a bit of a spur of the moment thing and am so glad this color Focus was a 5 speed and had the sport package since rear discs were a must.

I have to say that Focus saturation in the north Charlotte area of NC is surprisingly high. I usually see at least a dozen each day, from first-gen to brand-new rides. There are even two or three SVTs rolling around town that I know about (including mine).

The most surprising thing is that we don't have a Mooresville-based Focus group!
