Interchangeable Horns
Hello Everyone

Like a lot of people on here I have a water logged horn.... But it's not because of where the horn is located it's because I didn't replace the front air dam (I know I suck) after I rebuilt a fixer-upper and water got inside my horn.

Now I am looking for a new horn but don't want to replace it with the stock horn or even a set of aftermarket horns. What I am looking for is something that would be interchangeable from another ford vehicle. Something from a truck or a town car would be preffered since they have louder horns.

**So my question is: What other ford vehicle horns can we use on our cars. I have an '08 btw.

I don't see why any 12v horn couldn't be made to work. All it does is see intermittent signal.

Ha ha I suppose that would have been a good question to ask. Well now that I know our horns are 12V I will start my search for a 12V horn. I will let you know what I find.

Yeah, the PO of my Focus decided to splice into the wiring and hooked up two horns. They don't work, because the steering wheel has been replaced, and the new one doesn't have provisions for a horn, but still.

Well, someone on here hooked up a train horn, bet that is scary- I looking for a horn that sounds like a machine gun - bet that would go over great in Detroit

I hooked up the four note Cadillac horns, it sounds like a train without being obnoxiously loud.
