Wipers jumping real bad when used?

So this is the first time really driving the car in the rain, last night it rained, but my Rain-X was working GREAT and didnt even turn them on.

Anyways, today, it looks like all hell is about to break loose, and I turn the wipers on when it started raining, had a few good swipes, but then out of nowhere, they started "skipping/jumping" really bad. Not sure how to describe it, almost like the wiper motor kept loosing power or something.

I shot a quick video, it doesnt matter if I squirt the fluid, or have them on intermittent, they do it.

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

The video does it no justice, they move to fast for the camera really to pick it up. Does this mean I need a new wiper motor or is this a common problem with a simple fix? Couldnt really find anything on the forum about it.

BTW these are brand new wipee blades, and wipe flawlessly. Its not the blades.

It is probably the Rain-X. Rain-X can cause this type of problem.

I not the wipers or windshield. I can lift them up and they still jump like they're erratically loosing power or something.

Check to make sure the wiper arms are tightened to the wiper transmission properly, if they are then is might be damage in the wiper transmission, or the wiper motor, maybe electrical, but I think it would more likely stop completely if it was electrical issue.

Thanks for the tip. Ill check before I head into work.

I doubt its electrical, but thats just the only way I could describe it, like someone was rapidly disconnecting the power as they go down.

Now today after it sat all night, I squirted the windshield and theyre fine. They only do it after they've been consistantly on it seems like.
