It has a tiny, tiny baby growl. You hardly notice it. If its there, it's nothing to write home about.

And that could be placebo also, because I put the filter in the second day that I had the car, so I have no clear reference. My buddies Ti is near silent with the OEM though.

Search the threads for more info, but essentially you run a 3" hose into the box where the resonator is down to the left side triangle (block plate removed) for more air to the box.

The grates on the triangle on the s model dont open up at all, would I have to cut those open?

If you did, you would have to replace the whole thing if you changed your mind later...

I wish I could get the grills from a titanium. I'm not a big fan of the S model grills. I do like my payment and my car though.

Got the EGR's. Really like them. Gotta figure out where to post pics of 'em up at.

Where is the cheapest place to get the k&n now? I saw them for about $30 when I bought the car and now they're all around $50.

Amazon currently has it for $43 free shipping. A month ago it was ~$35

I guess $8 won't break my budget, I would like to get it for 35 shipped though.

Just got a K&N drop in from Amazon.com for $38 shipped. I am very pleased with with difference in sound coming from the intake, sounds much more aggressive without over doing it. Sounds like the 227 hp engine I had in my C30.
