Yeah, I think I definitely paid a bit too much. My old tint guy went out of business unfortunately. He was mobile, the new guy I took it to his shop. More overhead, higher cost. But he did a great job, and considering the ceramic is a factory warranty, even if the new guy goes out of business I can still get warranty support.

My last car was a Mazda5 mini van, and I paid $350, and that thing had a lot of windows.

Check this place out and look for Jose. I had '12 SE Sedan done just a couple of days ago. He carries 3m but after seeing him demo the Lunmar, I was immediately convinced. Best in UV protection as well as shielding heat. Very professional service. Look them up on Yelp and read the customers review. http://freshtintings.com/tint/

There is a tint shop buy the k&n factory (in riverside) they did bough my 2009 for 300 otd with a life time warenty form peeling and fade I think he quoted me 175 for one

I'd any of you tint your moonroof? I'm thinking of limo tinting it so I can leave the slide open more often.

Just had my fiesta done in 3m crystal line wow! Big difference. Even did a test against lunmar and the 3m came up on top i was surprised

You could also use something like yelp or another website to research local business and read reviews.

Tint plus, the guys legit, a little more pricy than normal but he has a lifetime warranty on all the tint.

What was the cost diff? I had my Eclipse tinted with Llumar back in '95 and it looked like the day I had it installed when I sold it 12 years later and only had an issue from where I scatched the inside of the window and it peeled and was repaired under the lifetime warranty.
I went to the same place for my my Focus and stuck with Llumar. 3M is good too but if it cost a lot more I couldn't understand why.
