Admiration and strict dedication to each other is key! Both of you have great focus.

Thanks for reiterating these coverage details concerning the 12B37 program.

I really hope Ford will release another update and make the car fun to drive again like it was with the prior update. It always felt peppy and eager to drop a gear and go!.

Dysan911 -

Have you seen your dealer about the last update affecting gear changes? If you're experiencing any other issues since 12B37 has been completed (harsh shifts, skipping gears, noises, etc.), please PM me your VIN; I'll document it. By the way, great question about "S" mode in the quoted post above!

I agree with this recommendation! Pleased to hear your Focus is doing fine and dandy since the update.

If anybody is still experiencing issues since getting 12B37 done, please PM me your VIN and describe your experience.

Thank You,

Thomas

I didn't have any problems w/ my transmission, either, but went ahead and had the updated done at a regular service interval... I find it does shift more smoothly, more like a torque converter automatic now. It does seem a bit more responsive but perhaps it's my imagination? I don't seem to have any issues whether in D, S, or S manual.

shifting above red line in auto sport mode

On the way to work this morning while in sport mode (auto) it shifted at almost 7000RPM. I have seen this a few times, can't remember if it was before update was applied as well. It didn't cut the fuel, pulled all the way to ~6800. I will see if I can reporduce it and what the conditions are.

I've only ever seen it redline shift at 6500 or so not pushing it out to 7000 rpm.
