All good. But can you talk to steeda and get them to fix that code since you seem to have the hook up? All fairness. It hasn't been two days since they posted it

Hey red, did the battery and intake have to come out for this install?? I was looking at it tonight and it looks real tight without taking the intake and battery out.

Intake, battery, battery tray all came out for install of the bracket. Hell we even had to loosen the transmission mount lol but figured that wasn't needed after doing it haha

Chad the designer had my car torn apart in like five minutes was kinda scary/funny at the same time

Red, is the shift effort noticeably increased when it's set to the shortest throw?

Brandon is out of the office this week FYI... so if any of you are having troubles getting a hold of him, that's probably why.

To be honest I never tried it on the other two settings, because during testing we needed to know if trimming had to be done and I opted for the shortest throw.

But the shift effort (force needed to get into gear) is increased a little but not so much that it is hard to do.

I havent done this yet, but may want to look into a weighted shift knob to act as a counter weight for using the bracket if you think it is too much.

I was kind of wondering why he hadn't chimed in since the STS came out.

Thanks for the heads up.

Interesting.

I just got a new shift knob that after I purchased it, realized that I didn't even check if it was weighted (turns out it isn't).

While it works perfectly fine with the stock shifter, if I did get the STS, I wonder how the feel would be.
