You didn't lose the plastic socket from the stock shifter which has to be swapped over to the steeda did you?

No need for anyone to worry... Found reverse... Adjusted linkages... All back together. A couple observations, due to the nature of the billet ball end, make sure you lube profusely; secondly, no stickers!!! What's up with that Steeda???

Very notchy...

Very stiff initially... Hopefully it'll break in more.

Under the hood there are some orange tab/buttons on the linkage cables that allow you to adjust tension on the cable linkages. One for left/right and the other for fore/aft. The left right wasn't adjusted properly for the new geometry and wasn't sliding far enough to the right to engage reverse. After a little adjustment it's working.

So the burn was... No sanding or grinding required for the bracket install but it took about fifteen minutes to get the linkages adjusted properly.

I hear ya on the grease. I was for sure not impressed with the feel by just "transferring over what you can from the stock shifter" like Steeda recommended.

I thankfully still had a tube of white silicone and put a good amount more on there. Once you drive it a bit and let the silicone get good coverage I find the shifts smooth and precise. It does require more effort to get out of gears, but once my new weighted knob comes in I think it'll be much better.
