Yo! goto www.Fordparts.com and search for the part on the site. (Register on the site if you want easy access to your car.) You'll find most parts have exploded diagrams to help identify their location. Also helps if you need to order the part from anybody... Print the diagram and take it with you.

Should be able to right click and do copy URL and paste into your address bar....

I don't think the sender it self turns on or off the fan. The temperature sensor is a analog device that "reports" a voltage and then goes through an analog to digital IC in the ECU. Once this converted number trips a pre defined level (can be adjusted with a tune) the fan turns on, once below turns off. It uses additional logic such as is the A/C on, or what your driving speed, etc to also turn on or off the fan. This then sends a control signal through a driver circuit to the relay.

I also be live that there is only 1 coolant temperature sensor so what you find will be your only option.

The CHT sensor is right above the alternator, you have to remove the alternator and put aside a few hours of work to replace the sensor.

What is your problem exactly?

If the fans don't come on low speed, then you have a cooling fan resistor failure.

It's an SVT, not a ZX3. The coolant temperature sensor is in the thermostat housing.
