Hey Rick 47, great looking muffler! What year Camaro is the muffler for and did it take a lot of modification for the muffler to fit your Focus? Do you think that you could record the sound and do you have any drone at highway speeds. Thanks.

First let me say the camaro muffler with dual exit is awesome looking...I love it. Just some information for the performance minded people out there. I'm not sure what brand muffler the camaro muffler is, but if it's a OEM replacement this is what it looks like inside. They are known to be pretty restrictive, probably not anymore restictive than our stock muffler, but maybe provide a little bit of extra sound because of dual outlet. If the inlet is 2.25 it sounds like a OEM type muffler and not an aftermarket performance muffler (they are usually 2.5) Here is a site with part numbers for that style of camaro muffler in the 2.25 OE style muffler (I believe this is it). I really like the dual setup of Rick47 it's sharp.

this could be a 1998 muffler as well they give differnt part numbers for 1996-1997 and 1998 but they both look the same maybe differnt lengths or hangar locations.

You just have to watch it on the camaro muffler that some but not all the inlet is on the dual side offset from the other outlet. (see diagram) If you get it hooked up wrong it will be straight pipe loud and only one of the tips will emit gases.

Those interested in the Camaro dual-outlet muffler upgrade (with perf. muffler) should check out this thread:

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269081

and

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...t=camaro+borla

The links contain part numbers and audio clips. The Borla in the first link sounds great with the resonator, IMO.

Yea I miss the sound of my 04 Cobra with Basani X-pipe and Borla stingers. Nothing else will ever sound good in comparison.

I'm actually looking into intake/exhaust upgrades to the Focus now that I have some time, so its good to hear more feedback in this thread.

Definitely feeling the Magnaflow though, still need to look at others.
