Ugly Cars - Wish list

I was talking with a coworker who had seen this car the night before, and did a double-take when he realized what he was looking at; now I want one but they're not very common cars apparently!

I don't even LIKE stancing (due to my racing); but I'd TOTALLY hella flush this and rock-the-eff outta tha damn thing!




So now I'm combing my mind trying to remember all those weird looking cars that, for whatever reason; look cool! Anyone else have a soft spot for these oddball autos?!?

Most of the Chevy Cavaliers and Pontiac J-2000's were cut up and used as Nascar modifieds in the northeast. The long roof was used for aerodynamic reasons. And they ran the interior sheetmetal from the firewall to the rear spoiler.

Man, I had a 89 Shadow ES. Those Shelby Shadows were impossible to find!

Actually, when I was looking for a new car in 89, It was a choice between the Z24 and the Shadow ES.

Oh man the 1980s is a vast repository of cars that I thought were cool back in the day. Many of them GM, and many of them for their looks or for weird tech stuff (Pontiac 6000 with a digital dash and 11,000 tiny gray plastic buttons comes to mind). Remember the Chevy Celebrity Eurosport VR?? Of course not, no one else does either but I thought it was cool. In my defense, I would have been about 10 years old at the time.

BTW I don't think I've ever actually seen a Cavalier fastback in real life??

When I was a kid, my cousin showed up with one of these. Yeah, I'm older than most on here. It was fast.
I've always wanted one. Not this model. They had one with a smaller body style.

My boss owns this. It's an 81 or 82 dodge challenger imported by Mitsubishi for dodge. It's a Tennessee car but has rust in odd areas. Has the 2.2 or 2.4 "hemi" found in kcars

AMX 2 seater= '68-'69, cool short wheelbase cars. The later '70-'74' AMX's are cool too= not a mustero.
