Then you would take it to a muffler shop and have them hang it and play with different mufflers and tips until you found what you like. You get a mandrel bent aluminized tubing for very little investment and spend all your big money on your Borla, and Magnaflow mufflers. This was a cool process scaning the magnaflow loading the pipe and in a few minutes you have an exact copy.........There is always the straight pipe option for those daring souls.
I am interested in your tubing, and then sticking magnaflow stuff on it, you are only an hour and a half from me, so I can drive out there, eliminate shipping and be a guinea pig.

Thumbs up

TruBendz sells just the tubing mandrel bent in aluminized and stainless for the Focus MK 1 and 2. The MK 2 tubing could easily be used for our cars since they offer some length options depending on he rear bumper. The tubing has the front flange and flaired sections for slip fitting it all together. You can get the tubing kits in 2.25, 2.5, and 3 inch sizes. You just add your muffler(s) of choice.

Check out their prices, and if you can beat them I bet you will have a lot of customers here.

The machine couldn't quite duplicate (Almost perfect) the radius of the magnaflow bend and since it's 2.5 it didn't help. If this works and ppl like the way it sounds it could be for sale in the near future.

tubing with muffler location

magnaflow comparison

let me know what you guys think.

Good call! They were the first site I checked out when I decided to go custom. Was hoping they had a specific kit, as I've seen/heard for a while that they do a nice job.

But they didn't have an exact kit for what I wanted to do and it was cheaper to have my local shop do it so that's what I went with.

Still hoping they come out with something to give everyone else something to consider.

If you like magnaflow I'll let you have first shot at this cat back system when I sell it. I only bought it to scan it with our mandrel bender. Interested?
