One may be able to kill drone and exit on the driver's side if you could find a short round or oval resonator to put near the end. I know that my 2008 MS3 had one and even with the cats removed had no drone.

You could do two straight through mufflers underneath, and a stubby one tucked up in the back with a turn down.

Like this. Hell if I can buy one, I will make it work. It is slightly over 2.5"

The mufflers would need to be bigger. The turbo muffles most of the sound...

Yeah actually my buddies have ran the same piping for a while and have had no ill effects. My thinking is more along the lines of "since I'm redoing the piping because of the bends, I might as well go T304 stainless while I'm at it."

If they had been able to mandrel bend, I'd leave it most likely.

Also, thanks for the props guys!

Yeah it's actually barely visible unless you are looking from the perspective of the picture. Because of the small muffler, it was able to be hung a bit higher than stock. I plan on doing what REDFOCZ did and painting it with some high temp black once the exhaust is finalized, so that should take care of it nicely.

I think someone on here has done that actually (or initially set it up like that).

I believe they have a Youtube sound-clip.

This would be overkill in size, but sweet...

No more thread jacks. Promise.

Dual exhaust could be cool too, like the fox bodys GTs had with dual turn down tips on either end? Or are you talking two side by side turn down tips?

The tiny rear resonator for the driver's side could be like this. Tuck it up in... 18" overall length including the tip...

Or in black...

Oh well, at least you can hear what the exhaust sounds like after some break-in time.

Here are some of the specs for those who can't watch the videos ATM:

-Steeda CAI
-Custom Borla cat-back using Borla mufflers 40842S and 40364 with 2.5" piping from the header.

I actually had two of these done this weekend, but had to redo another because it's sound quality sucked. Tried to edit these all together in a video with movie maker, but the sound kept shutting off. Haven't had that happen before and eventually I just got fed up with it.

Sorry in advance for the excess time in the videos!

Be sure to read the video descriptions for all the info. I'm interested in all feedback. Here are the links:

Sounds perfect.
