I would do some maintenance as well, so add 200-300 bucks more just to be safe..
boost is a costly road, just when you think you have all the parts something comes up OR you'll simply want more boost!
not sure if tuning is included w/ those kits.. but think about that as well.

I got a good deal on a used FSW stage 2 kit and love everything about it. Had a couple bumps with my install but only came out to my error. My car is so fun to drive now. I would do it if you are able. But do your home work on both kits. If you ask people whats best your gonna get a lot of opinions. The focus sport kits works real good for me.

I got to do a test ride in the blue SEMA focus sport focus and their ST with the turbo in each one. Compared to my focus it was a new beast. The ST only had the turbo stage 2 and intake and that felt like a totally different car. I know living in So. Cal I would have to deal with the smog issue.

I too love boost...it is however a costly road. So be prepared for that. I sunk more money then i care to remember in my car after boosting. It all depends on if you can live with lower boost or try to hit bigger numbers. The higher the hp the more the cost...it goes exponentially. And speaking from experience iv had a turboed svt..a turboed mustang..a turboed mazdaspeed 6 and currently have a twin turboed f150. So its safe to say i like my turboed. Btw i design equipment with large turbos on them. Thats a little different application though!

you dont turbo a focus bc it makes financial sense...you turbo a car to enjoy it. My 89 mustang was maybe worth a couple grand at best but the engine was an 8k$ engine...same principle.
