Wow, I guess a the MTX75 can handle a lot.
I heard the spider gear on the cougars mtx75 like to go bad though, is that the same case with the focus MTX75? I've always wondered this one, ever since my friends cougar had the spider gear go on him. Cause the trans looked like our, besides the bell housing.

Well, well, well.
The little shoot decided to sell it.lol I don't think he can make up his mind, either that or he is not enough of a mechanic to make a car into what he wants. he owned a Integra, and let it go for this hatch, now he says he's giving this up for a 2000 Honda civic, I asked what motor he said IDK, DOHC. I asked why you selling the hatch? He said because I want something I can make into a show car. lol At this point I do not think he is a serous racer, and will be selling his cars until he finds one tricked out already. lol. Sad though, I wanted to whoop his Honda. I guess now I'll find someone more of a challenge. Because if you ask me, he got rid of it cause it starting acting real slow, like something was breaking. His header was almost crushed shut because he hit it.

This was a cool thread to read. lots of good, friendly advice. Still head to the track to get some passes under your belt, the first time will be very embarrassing.
When you go, don't pop the clutch off the line. You want to slip the clutch from 4k at full throttle, you will likely bog if you try to pop it on a properly prepped track. Matt
