Best double din, bluetooth stereo for iphone <$200

Currently have a Pioneer FH-X700BT and it's pretty solid but WAY too bright at night. Anyone have good recommendations for a nice double din bluetooth player that plays nice with an iphone? Mine looks like it belongs on a spaceship and don't really want that. I don't need anything crazy, mostly want to stream music/ pandora etc via bluetooth and not be blinded at night.

Looking at the Clarion CX501, Sony App Radio (don't like the one line display).

What do you guys have?

Thanks!

See "I" on the diagram

Does the dimmer do anything at all on this unit? I know on some the dimmer is useless, worth a try if you havent yet.

Ya it only makes about a 10% difference using the dimmer. Even with the dimmest colors on the radio it's really bright at night. Thanks tho!

I had a Dual double din. Its not going to be awesome and have as many features as a 700$ one, but it defintely works well! I had one in my old Mustang when I bought it and I loved it. Dual is not a GREAT brand but I would not call it trash, and I believe they are about 200$ new.

I bought the sony wx-gt90bt for the reviews it got on sound reproduction. 7 band eq, siriusxm ready and pretty factory looking. I havent got it in yet but looks awesome sitting on the table lol.

I looked for months
Kenwood or JVC double din would have won but it wasnt sirusxm ready and you have to buy a 60 dollar adapter with a 50 dollar tuner.

Ya that's what I ordered, will be here tomorrow should have time to put it in on Friday. Looks pretty factory like you said and got great reviews, hopefully the app radio thing works well sounds like it should. This is the only newish one I could find that came out this year, most others were at least two years old. Just wanted something with the newest tech. Hopefully it's not uber bright, it does look really clean!

Well I put in my sony wxgt90bt this weekend and it sounds amazing. I almost had lost faith with siriusxm and their compressed signal, but this radio sounds great even on stock speakers. The display is bright but you can set a day and night mode and choose a color for each. Sound adjustment is nice too it has speaker timing on all channels and for the subwoofer so you can get the sound hitting in you ear at the same time. I also like their eq presets! All around Im glad I bought it now to comlain to metra about using oragne buttons.

Got mine in last week and I love it! The dimmer actually does something and it's neat how one can set a dim night color like you said. I think the dimmer wire is the blue/white strip but I can't remember for sure. I didn't even know it would work with my headlights like that but it does!

Connects really quick to my iphone 5, a couple seconds vs the pioneer would take upwards of 20 seconds. Sounds great like you said!

I've been playing with all the sound positions and timing and have it pretty dialed in. Another feature I love is all the settings I use for sirius stay on sirius and what I program for usb stay on usb. Thanks for the heads up on the blue wire I'll check it tonight.
