2012 Ford Focus Headlamps will not shut off

My 2012 Ford focus SE Headlamps will not shut off no matter what i do! i turn the knob to off and they remain on. The Headlamp dummy light on dash just stays on along with the lights. would like to get them to turn off.

Im sorry about the first post, wasnt clear enough. when i turn the car on in broad daylight the headlamps are on along with the parking lights, not the drl's. when i turn the knob to off they remain on. i would like to have them hut off during the day and use my drl's instead but cannot figure out how

I have the same problem as you. I went back to dealer and ask for repair. Dealer checked with ford and they claim it is built this way after a certain day of 2012. How ridiculous. It is. I plan to write an official letter of complain to ask for repair. Do you want to join?
