FSWerks kit intercooler dimensions
Hi,
Anyone have the information of FSWerks intercooler dimensions? I'm starting a DIY turbo and would like to know a good IC size for Focus. 22" x 5.5" x 2.5" will be fine? Turbo is a GT28, will run at 8psi and stock internals. It's a 2.0. Thank you |

Those sizes will be ok , the big thing is the location to get clean air and to box the cooler good to make the air go through it , doing this you can get cooler air , make he IC more efficient , make safer power

2.25" piping it's ok for turbo > IC > throttle body? I don't know what's the turbo engine outlet diameter, I think it's 2". |

turbo outlet size doesnt matter with intercooler piping. large piping will flow better but boost response will be slightly better with smaller piping. with a 28r i would either run full 2.5" ic piping with 3" maf housing or 2.5 hot side and 3" cold side
