Modding a 2012 Sedan. :-)

Im looking into mods for my 2012 S sedan. I have the 5-speed manual transmission. So far im pretty happy with the car, it has more power than I expected a 4 cylinder to have. I am anxious to see what its capable of in terms of power output. I am looking into basic bolt on mods, nothing extreme.

2.5" catback exhaust with Flowmaster 40 single in dual out.

SCT tuner with a custom tune and dyno.

Cold air into OR ram air mod.


So far this is what I have come up with, not sure how much more power I would get. I wanted to add headers, but cant find any available at this point. Doesnt seem to be a whole lot available at the moment. Hoping more comes available later. Im not looking to make extrame mods, just help the car reach it maximum potential. I think throttle response will be much better with a good tune. And surely that massive stock muffle has to be restrictive. Not sure how much wheel HP she lays down stock.

so mods for the new focus won't come out for awhile, just be patience, once the warranties start going, then it'll happen, right now i've heard the cold air i think, the exhaust do it, the tune yes, go cold air, you should get a new suspension, a nice drop, and keep the old suspension for 10 years and sell it for bank. its not difficult changing interior things, get some LED's, tint, tint tail lights, yellow fogs with HID's headlights.
get that stuff going, it'll look sickk, and one day a turbo

FSWerks is already developing an intake, and I think has an exhaust about done.

I have completed 3 mods so far, first i added the 17" Drag DR-33s with Yokahama rubber, then I tinted the tail lights, rear reflectors, and added a Sony Xplode 12" sub with a 250 watt RMS amp (stuff I had from past vehicles) My next mod i will hopefully get to this weekend, thats painting the rear drums and front calipers black, the grey sticks out like a sore thumb. Lots of other stuff on the list, slowly getting to it.

Waiting to do the performance mods until SCT gets the tuner out for the 2012 :-)

Painted my rear drums, havent done much else. Hopefully this weekend I will tear apart the headlights and tint the side markers and paint the chrome surround. The car has a couple of dents in the roof along the edge where a tree limb fell on it. Hopefully a body shop can repair these but I will wait until I have the cash to paint the rocker panels, rear valance, and order a front spoiler.
