Ok last fish pic but this was 60miles out of St Augustine 47" bull dolphin.

Here is my final vac block setup:

From top to bottom:
- boost controller
- meth injection controller
- boost gauge
- bov

I fly fish in fairly small streams, where I literally have to hide from the fish! It also involves backpacking 8 miles one-way to set up camp. There a 12" trout is big. :)

What port on the manifold did you use?
I do mostly creek fishing here and we have a couple different trout you can catch. Some get pretty big. Speckled trout has to be over 15". Biggest I've caught was 27". Really good to eat.

Wild rainbow and native brook trout is typically what we fish for.

I run a 3/8" heater hose from the evap system port. You can see it under the IAC:

On a side note, this aluminum intake manifold is a heat-soak disaster.
I'm going to have to figure out a thermal spacer to separate it from the head, and also line the underside of it with reflective heat tape since the coolant lines lay right against it.
The added intake temps counteract the benefit of the meth injection. Very frustrating.

I've noticed how hot mine gets. That sucks about the meth injection. I kept seeing you mention it and started looking up info on it. Do the cossie's do the same thing? Btw I like the painted fuel rail. Might do that when I switch the injectors out.

The meth injection seems to drop the intake temp around 30*, but this new manifold soaks up the heat from the head it increases the temp at least 30* and just doesn't cool down. I'm going to experiment with a custom silicone gasket to separate the metal-to-metal contact to the head.
Yes the cossie IM would be exactly the same. You can see where I mounted the IAT sensor.
Note: the temperature comparisons are not taking into consideration the IAT has moved from the piping where the MAF is located to the intake manifold. There is always the chance the factory manifold also got that hot, but I'm seriously doubting that because that plastic doesn't soak up heat like metal.

Thanks for the info. So I should get an iat sensor then to keep track of that. Seems worth it to get the meth injection. Gonna do some more research on it. Which brand did you go with if you don't mind? So what did you do with the evap? Thanks for all your help man.
Here is the new flange that I got from atpturbo.

I removed the evap purge canister and tucked the inlet line behind the others. I also turned it off in the tune. As long as the fuel system is vented that's all the matters. That freed up the manifold port.
The meth injection system I have is a custom tank, a pump and boost switch from http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.com, line and 2gph nozzle from http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/.
I'll post a thread about it after I play with it and get it dialed in. Right now I have basically zero information to share about it.

OK I was checking out the aem system. Lot of info on there and has YouTube video that breaks down how it works. I'll post a link up on here. Seems like a really good mod. Makes sense to use it. Anything that helps cool temps is a plus.

Yes the cossie IM does the same and I was thinking about putting an spacer myself my bro put one in (phenolic) his Saturn I will ask him about the sizes of the spacer cause there is not much space between the fan and the IM
