I just got 20%. I've had 35% (legal limit in MA) for 4 years in my old Focus
What a difference 20 is, and holy crap I can barely see in my mirrors to park at night.
It's not really the darkness of the tint, it's more of the annoying reflection of the side vent that overlays itself into the mirror area and screws with what I think I'm looking at.

I can't say much about seeing to back up straight though since I have sensors and the camera, the camera is very handy now with the darker tint

Hmm... I'm wondering if I can get full all around cameras with 0% tinting...
Don't mind me ... just a flash of thought

Honestly, I don't know why cars still have side mirrors; protuberances are aerodynamically horrible. Cameras with screens inside the case would fair much better - not sure how much they would actually help, though.

Anyone had problems with tint getting scratched from rolling down windows?
I had this issue in our BMW. There is a gasket in the door panel that needed to be removed so it wouldn't scrape the tint when dirt and other particles collected when the windows were rolled down all the way.

I wasn't sure if the focus has something similar.

Tinting - for anyone in the south or southwest, money well spent, enhances the A/C, protects interior from fade. Get the darkest the law allows.

well, blond spot monitoring and rear view cameras do exist, making the rear views basically only to see the cops following you lol. soon as I get the cash im going 5% all around with a big bar on the windshield.

Do the whole windshield, you will love how much cooler the car is in the summer and, how much easier it is to see out of.

Question about tinting the entire windshield.
Do you guys have state inspection stickers that are stuck to the windshield?
I have one but how would that work from there? They usually go aggressively scrape that old sticker off.
If that was on the tint wouldn't the tint get damaged?

About harder to see at night, I wouldn't tint it as dark as the other ones but anything like a 50% or a 35% would be nice and still be functional
